Harvesting Tobacco


Tobacco Harvest in South Carolina
 This is a typical South Carolina scene during the late summer harvest of tobacco (the bright leaves). The tobacco would be cured in the smoke house, sorted and carried to market.  But this is only a day in the page of history as all operations have now been mechanized.
