St. John's Lutheran Church in Charles dates back to about 1818. Caroline Francisco mentioned the church in her last will and testament in 1846 Charleston. She said that it was at th orner of Archdale and Clifford Streets. To view her will online become a member of www.southcarolinapioneers.net
