Tour Boone Hall Plantation in Charleston
The home of John Boone (1632-1711) and his wife, Elizabeth (Pattey) Boone. John Boone was the grandson of descendant of Henry Boone. In 1670 John Boone came from Barbados with the first fleet of colonists into South Carolina. In 1743, the son of John Boone planted live oak trees.
